Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson based on the short story of the same name by George R. R. Martin, the film tells the story of a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, decides to take a bold step: she sends the powerful and terrifying sorceress Gray Alice (Mila Jovovich) to the spooky land of the Lost Lands in search of magical power.
